Metronor SOLO

Description of the measuring device

Metronor SOLO is a portable CMM system based on Metronor’s patented principle. It is a coordinate measuring machine that consists of two separate parts (camera and touch light pen). This makes it possible to measure even points that are not visible in the field of view of the camera. The measurement works on the principle of comparing actual dimensions with CAD data.

Using

The Metronor SOLO measuring system can be used in the production and subsequent remeasurement of large welded parts, castings, forgings or various assemblies. Furthermore, various jigs, stops and clamps can be set/adjusted. It is also used in prototype development and inter-operation inspection. Metronor SOLO is also suitable for measuring pipes and tubes.
